Dos Ojos

max depth 26ft
One of the most popular cenotes due to its underwater archeology, formations, history and accessibility. It has two awesome cavern dives, one is the Dos Ojos line which extends for about 500mts/1650 feet, has lots of natural light, fossils, gigantic formations such as stalactites, stalagmites and huge columns. The bat cave line is usually the second dive, with huge rooms filled with large formations. The actual Bat Cave is a big air pocket with a connection to the surface where you can come up and appreciate the beautiful formations on the roof and see fossilised brain corals, conches and shells among other things. The bat cave is about 450mts/1500 feet long.
